Distributor Sales Initiatives 

Step 1
Create marketing piece on the prospective promotion or new product. We will create and design the piece to make it usable in all functions of the initiative.

Step 2
Mail, E-mail or Fax and sometimes all of the above depending on the initiative the flyer to the current distribution base within our territory of responsibility.

Step 3
Identify target distributors to which the product or promo may have some interest. We have several resources for lead generation that we use to identify potential distributors for specific product lines. This concept keeps us on the constant search for new distribution in the territory when applicable.

Step 4
We then tag all contacts and accounts than have received the marketing piece in our CRM database for immediate  follow up. The IMR or manufacture partner can access this database in real time to see the progress of the initiative. Our call center professionals are  trained on each and every product they are trying to sell to ensure they are knowledgeable on the product or promotion. The call center reviews the main points of the promotion or product to the customer and then sets up a follow up call for the field sales team once the initiative is passed to them. We always contact the current customers first to ensure they get the promo or product information as efficiently as possible. Then we focus if applicable to the target customers we have determined to be a fit for the initiative.

Step 5
Once the call center has qualified and quantified each and every current customer and prospect customer the initiative then passes to the field sales team. The lists are generally divided up by account to which the salesperson is assigned. Target accounts are split up by geography to where the salesperson spends the majority of his or her time. By the time the sales person contacts these current or prospect accounts they
have been contacted by our organization at least 2 to 3 times prior which obviously increases the chances of closing the sale and or gaining incremental new business.

Consumer Sales Initiatives

Identify distributor partners that are interested in working with us for the initiative. We have several resources for lead generation that we use to identify potential consumers for specific products. This concept keeps us on the constant search for new end users in the territory and promotes brand awareness within the territories we represent for the manufacturer.

Step 4
We then tag all contacts and accounts than have received the marketing piece in our CRM database for immediate  follow up. care of in a timely manner. This type of effort obviously has a long term effect on our relationships with the distributor and consumers alike within our territory.
